My Interview on The Ground Work Podcast
Recently I had the opportunity to be a guest on Farm Policy Facts podcast #Groundwork that is hosted by Tom Sell. Tom is the Managing Partner at Combest, Sell & Associates LLC in Lubbock Texas. I have known Tom for several years while volunteering on behalf of Arkansas rice farmers at the federal level with USA Rice on policy issues in Washington DC. Tom and I both have Ag Business degrees – his from Texas Tech and mine from the University of Arkansas. We graduated a year apart. So, we have lots of ag policy history in common. Tom asked me to come on the show to chat about the US rice industry from a farmer’s perspective and how the 2022 crop season has been difficult for rice farmers for several reasons.
